Our Story

A son. A father.
Forty years of craft.

Legacy Pet Sculptures was built on a simple idea: your pet deserves more than a photo. We combine precision 3D printing with the hand-painted detail only decades of mastery can produce.

My father is a retired master artist. I bring the technology. Together, in Long Island City, we make something that belongs in your family for generations — not just your camera roll.

Not machine-colored. Not mass-produced.
Hand-painted, every time.

How It Works

From photo to sculpture
in days, not weeks.

A simple process built around your pet's unique details — and your peace of mind.

01
Submit Photos

Fill out our quick order form. We'll ask for 3–5 clear photos of your pet — front, side, and a close-up of the face.

02
We Print

We generate a precise 3D model and print your sculpture on our Bambu P1S. You approve the shape before paint touches it.

03
Dad Paints

Our master artist hand-paints every marking, eye color, and distinctive feature — same day. No two pieces are identical.

04

What Pet Owners Say

Made in Long Island City.
Kept forever.

"

I genuinely didn't know what to expect, but when I saw the finished sculpture I cried. The green eyes, the little white paws — it's Truffle exactly. I'll have this forever.

— LIC Cat Owner

"

The attention to detail is unreal. My dog's pink bandana, her fur texture, even the tiny bone on her collar tag. Nobody would believe this was painted by hand from photos.

— Astoria Dog Owner

"

I ordered this as a memorial piece after we lost our boy. Having something physical to hold has meant more to our family than I can put into words. Worth every penny.

— Greenpoint Pet Owner

Questions

Everything you need to know.

How many photos do you need? +
We ask for 3–5 photos: front facing at eye level, side profile (full body), a 45° angle from slightly above, and a close-up of the face. For pets who have passed, we work with whatever you have.
Do you do cats? +
Absolutely. Cats, dogs, rabbits, any pet. Every breed, every size, every coat. If it matters to you, we can make it.
What if I don't like the print before it's painted? +
We send you a photo of the raw white sculpture before any paint is applied. You approve it — or we adjust — before the artist touches it. Paint doesn't start until you're happy.
Can you do a memorial piece for a pet who has passed? +
Yes — and this is one of the most meaningful things we do. Old photos work fine. Our artist's eye fills in what the camera couldn't capture. The Legacy size is our recommendation for memorial pieces.
Do you ship? +
Currently we deliver in-person within NYC (LIC, Astoria, Greenpoint, Williamsburg, Upper East Side, and surrounding areas). Local delivery is part of what makes this special — you meet the people who made it.
Why is the deposit non-refundable? +
We start printing immediately after deposit. Filament, machine time, and the artist's day are all committed to your piece. The 50% deposit protects both sides — we start, and you know we're all in.
